As I mentioned a week or so ago, Rich, Dan, and I recorded ourselves recently, with the intention of starting a podcast. Well, after some fiddling by Rich, it’s now available.
It’s about an hour and a half of technology rants and general geekiness, and there’s both an MP3 and an Ogg-Vorbis version. If you can’t get to the page (like if you’re with Virgin) take a look at http://termisoc.org/podcast/podcast/.
Justt got back from Rich’s, where he, Dan, and I have spent the evening recording our very first podcast (gods I hate that word…). It’s entitled “login”, and is basically the three of us sitting around a table ranting about stuff. Much like we do every day anyway, but this time we recorded it.
A fun evening was had by all; it took a little longer than we expected, mainly because we had to research topics and discuss the format of the session beforehad (and also because we stopped for dinner partway through—thanks to Rich’s girlfriend Chrissey for that).
I’m going to run the whole thing through the noise-reduction filters tomorrow morning, then wing it over to Rich for some editing (we did waffle on a bit at times), then it’ll probably be uploaded in the next few days. I’ll post a link once it is.
