Music is a complicated one. My tastes tend to vary depending on my mood, but they include classic rock/metal (Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd, the Who, Black Sabbath, Supertramp, Iron Maiden, Rush, Rammstein), blues (Eric Clapton/Cream, the Yardbirds, Eva Cassidy, Nina Simone, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell), punk (the Clash, the Jam, the Undertones, the Dead Kennedies, Rage Against The Machine), post-punk/new-wave/electronic (Joy Division/New Order, This Mortal Coil, Echo and the Bunnymen, U2 before they stopped singing about anything meaningful and became a boyband, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Pet Shop Boys, múm), goth (Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Cure, the Damned, Bauhaus, the Sisters of Mercy despite all their protestations to the contrary) and more obscure stuff like Clannad, Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai, Philip Glass, and Vangelis

I play guitar, at the moment focusing on acoustic pieces (although I also own an electric). As of January 2010 I’ve also started to learn to play the harmonica. In the future, I’d like to learn keyboard, too.
